One Bold Shift: Ocean Experience

A half-day by the ocean to get clear, decide what matters and step into the version of your life you keep thinking about, but haven’t claimed yet.

Leave with one clear decision, a body-based way to follow through and a simple structure you can repeat so it actually sticks.

most people don’t step into what matters most

Most people don’t change the things that really matter.

Instead, they:

𝗫 Stay stuck in the same patterns.
𝗫 Accept the same version of their life.
𝗫 Keep putting off what they know they deeply want.

It's not that they don’t care about their vision; it's usually because they never create the moment to actually shift it.

This is that moment.

What you’ll leave with:

  • A clear, specific decision about something that matters to you — made, not deferred.

  • A grounded, body-based way to follow through when life gets busy or your focus wavers.

  • A simple, repeatable structure you can return to so this doesn’t fade in a week.

  • A real sense of momentum: one you can feel as you move into the next few days, not something you have to manufacture.

Not more thinking. A shift you’ve already begun and know how to continue.

4–6 people total.

This is designed to feel calm, focused and genuinely useful, not overwhelming. It isn’t a big retreat or a packed class. It’s a thoughtful, guided experience with space to actually think and move something forward.

Yoga and movement are accessible and guided throughout. You don’t need to be advanced, just open and willing.

this is for you if …

  • You’ve been thinking about making a change, but haven’t acted on it

  • Something important has been sitting in the background for too long

  • You want clarity and momentum, not more overthinking

  • You’re ready to move forward, not stay where you are

  • You’re drawn to the ocean, fresh air and space to think clearly

  • You appreciate yoga and movement as a way to reset how you feel and function

You’re not here to settle. You’re ready to move something forward.

why this approach works

Most people try to make change by thinking it through.

This approach is different.

It’s not a series of yoga classes.

And it’s not a passive wellness day.

It’s a structured, intentional experience that combines accessible movement, breathwork, mindful attention and focused reflection — so you’re not just thinking about what you want to change,
you’re working with your body and nervous system to support it.

There’s a clear progression to the day,
one that helps things click in a way they often don’t on your own.

You won’t just leave with an idea of what needs to change.

You’ll feel it clearly and be ready to follow through.

That’s what helps a decision stick. And why five focused hours can move something forward that’s been sitting in the background for too long.

A calm yet energizing, well-paced day from 11am–4pm, featuring:

• Oceanfront yoga, meditation, mindful movement and breathwork
• Guided, strategic reflection woven throughout
• A beautifully prepared, healthy lunch
• Space to think clearly and focus your energy
• A thoughtfully designed journal you’ll use throughout the day and take with you
• A grounded close so you leave steady and moving forward

Everything is designed to feel focused, intentional, meaningful and genuinely useful.

We’re keeping this intentionally small: 4 to 6 people so there’s space to focus, think clearly and do this properly.

leah welcome

Director of Embodied Transformation, Trie is a yoga-powered transformation coach and the creator of One Bold Shift.

Prior to earning her Yoga Teacher Certification in a castle in the south of France, she served as Deputy Mayor of Bloomington, Ind. and taught 21 classes at Indiana University before transitioning into coaching.

She's been practicing yoga for 15 years and has studied with Ocean Grove’s master teacher, Fran Scalessa, since the good ol' days of classes on the pier in 2012. She still takes Fran's Zoom classes weekly, and much of her yoga knowledge (and love for it) comes from that work.

Today, she brings together leadership, coaching and mindful movement to help people create deep, meaningful change they're ready to step into — and embody — over the next chapter of their life.

As Director of Guest Experience, Leah makes sure everyone feels welcome, well fed and well taken care of.

She has spent her career creating environments where people feel genuinely welcomed, taken care of and at ease — from high-end restaurants in Washington DC to Manhattan, where she trained teams, anticipated needs and built lasting relationships with guests.

She brings a rare combination of warmth, precision and attention to detail, ensuring the day feels seamless, relaxed and thoughtfully cared for from start to finish.

Her focus is simple: when people feel comfortable and supported, they’re able to go deeper into the work they came to do.

thoughtful care by the ocean, at the jersey shore

OG

Our favorite Jersey Shore spot! A charming beach town nestled between Bradley Beach and Asbury Park. It's an historic seaside town founded in the late 1800s, known for its quiet charm, Victorian homes and long-standing connection to reflection and renewal.

Its vibe is calm, spacious and naturally conducive to stepping back and thinking clearly.

Ocean Grove, New Jersey

We’ll be at The House By The Sea, an oceanfront B&B on Ocean Avenue — cozy, relaxed and steps from the Atlantic — where the rhythm of the ocean, the breeze and the openness of the horizon create the kind of space this work needs.

We’ve been coming to Ocean Grove for years so we found it only fitting to kickoff One Bold Shift here.
